David’s Cookies
I was thrilled the other day when I opened my front door to find a package had been delivered to me. I was expecting the package, so that was not the reason for my excitement. It was the contents of this shipment that made me dizzy with joy and anticipation. The contents consisted of a tin of cookies and a bucket of brownies. Did I say bucket? I sure did. For a sweet tooth like me, this was a heavenly gift.
The cookies and brownies came from a place called David’s Cookies. My friend ordered them online and had them delivered to me. How sweet (literally) was that? I have never received food through the mail before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as freshness goes.
Let me tell you…these cookies tasted like they came fresh from the bakery. The brownies were, to quote Willy Wonka, “scrumpdillyumptious”! There were about 4 varieties in my tin of cookies including, chocolate chunk, white chocolate macadamia, peanut butter, and oatmeal raisin. There were three varieties of brownies including, regular chocolate, cream cheese and walnut. I do not exaggerate when I say I was a fan of them all.I could not believe how soft everything was. An insert in the package stated that if the goodies could not be consumed within 48 hours, then they would need to be frozen to preserve freshness. It took about 4 days for me and my family to eat everything. We never needed to freeze them. They remained moist and delicious the entire 4 days. Obviously they held well during their travels. I highly recommend David’s Cookies for any occasion.
