Bumbo Baby
I have to tell you about a great baby chair my friends had at a barbecue that I recently attended. It looked like a cushioned booster seat with a wide handle that came up between the baby’s legs. They called it a Bumbo Seat. My friend’s five-month-old little girl was happily passed around to guests until her parents brought out the odd-looking baby seat. They then plopped her on the center of the table into the Bumbo Seat. She was sitting in the middle of all the action as happy as can be with no worries of her wobbly body crashing out of the chair. I loved that the chair was extremely durable, very easy to carry and perfect for babies who can’t sit up on their own.
I guarantee that if I have a third child, I will definitely be getting one of these seats and taking it with me everywhere, especially parties. Then I won’t have to stalk everybody with my child, secretly hoping they will want to hold him or her while I go and play with the adults.

NEVER, EVER place a child in a Bumbo seat unless it is on the FLOOR. These chairs were recalled due to children falling out of them and sustaining severe head injuries. I am lucky, but my son when he was 6 months old fell out of it from the dining room table (3 feet high) and landed on the back of his head on hardwood floor. He was LUCKILY not hurt. We did go to the ER though just to make sure. PLEASE, never use this chair except for use on the FLOOR only!
